Well, in a throwback to the halcyon days of the 1990’s internets, welcome to the Toots and Sally Guestbook. We’d rather you read the posts and leave a comment, but here’s a niftly little spot to leave a quick note…

@Geoff: It isn’t a North Face Run. Clink the link to find out about it.
Cool site. Good luck with the northface run and the non-profit.
Cheers!
So I only really know one Banana and Toots here but I have to say I am mighty impressed with the site and the dedication shared amongst everyone. Some might even call it inspiring, and I may join yer ranks one day as a bonda-fide runner. But first, I must buy a nifty sportsbra. Isn’t that right, mon amie Banane?:)
This is a great site. Well done.
I”ve given up trying to post to this blog!!! I am never given the PUBLISH button!!! All I get is the SAVE button!!!
Your one year dream is finally here, Can you believe it! Should I say “break a leg” NO No No, that is for thoes theater arts guys. Don’t do that! Run Forest Run!! Have a Blast and cross the finish line you have worked hard for it. Good Luck!
whoa! where’d my posting go??
HELLO…THIS THING ON?
You guys are my inspiration! I started my own exercise blog, too! But I’m swimming, not running.
Thanks!
How do i register????????
ToM, your contribution is very much appreciated. In fact, you should join us and post on the main blog.
It would be out of character for me to not be a smart ass, however.
It was 1am in the morning, I was at work as I am now and I was bored and sleepy and was at a loss for words. So I threw in the Wired article about Karnazes. Can I get at least a little credit?
Hey ToM, clearly, you’re not really keeping up with the site.
Lumpy’s Running Wisdom
I just finished reading my Jan 2007 issue of Wired and thought of you guys. It’s an issue devoted to “The Science of Human Enhancement” and there’s an article on Dean Karnazes and his 12 secrets to his success. Yeah, it’s a tech mag but this issue was devoted to el cuerpo humano.
I know it’s 1255am but i’m at work and this is what im’ doing while waiting for a really late flight, reading. still got over an hour to wait, guess i’ll watch tv now…
Interesting blog…I’m toying with the idea of joining you guys in Paris however, Miguel would be left alone and it’ll be the middle of futbol season and no one to take him to his game…it’ll also be the start of TAKS testing. Oh well…it’s looking like I’ll have to skip being there to cheer you guys on… Darn!! I guess I’ll have to sacrifice the Paris Marathon trip and go to Germany instead during Oktoberfest in September. I hate having to make these decisions!!!

OK…I can’t imagine running for miles and miles but yet you two find the strength to do it. I so admire you both. Someday (here goes Mr. Procastinator)I will run a long run. Don’t know if it’ll be a 5k, 10k or marathon. All I know is I have to do it before 40. Knowing you two “strong” women are doing it, makes me think it can be done. Thanks for the inspiration and keep you head up (especially during your running).
Hi! …Well, since I can’t go to Paris to cheer you on, I will contribute to your training by posting a quote everyday.* I even have a little list going!
*Rules subject to change. I may skip a day or two due to work, school and child.
