“It’s like trail running without the fun of trail…”

That’s what I said on the phone to Coworker #1 when I called to get Lumpy at work. I was supposed to do 5, slightly miscalculated, did 4.7, of which I probably ran 4.4, unintentionally.

If any of you folks in the Minneapolis area are considering running between 50th and Lake Harriet on the creek path, DON’T.  It wasn’t even close to cleared.

All in all, yow. I ache. Yet, I have a sleeping dog at my feet when I’m on the couch, and I have a great sense of accomplishment. I thought I would have walked much more, but I did what counted and I had fun which has always been the tough part of training for me.         Nope, my post was not witty like Lumpy; I still have Spanish homework and icing to do! Cut me some slack! heh. Happy running, all.

About Sally

Yeah, I'm a co-conspirator. I helped start this whole darn thing. The running or the blog, you ask? Yes. Friend of Toots, spouse of Lumpy, runner of dogs, lover of winter weather, reader of books, speaker of languages, educator of youth.
