So I tried to run my 4 miler on the treadmill at the gym after work today. I think it’s officially the worst run I’ve had during this training. I just could not get going, it was stuffy and humid in the gym, I’m still somewhat congested, and even though I thought I had eaten well earlier in the day, all the energy had been completely zapped out of me. I got a little down about this run…not sure why…I guess I just assumed it should have been an easy run. Anyway, I completed the 4 miles in 49 minutes…I guess it wasn’t absolutely horrible timewise, but it just felt like an unproductive run and a complete waste of time.
