I have poo in my shoes.

I realized when I got to physical therapy (after spilling coffee on my fleece and pants), that I have dog poo on my shoes. I realized it when I was laying down on the table, about to have my hamstring flexibility checked. I am thinking she did not notice. If it smells, I cannot tell. Mike Rowe would be proud.

Yesterday was my check back in with my orthopedic doctor, and today was my last p.t. appointment. I’m done! I have a crap ton of exercises to choose from and I’m feeling motivated. I did not run yesterday. My plan was to ride my bike to work, ride to the ortho, ride home, then run Guinness. Well, I took some wrong turns and the dr’s office was farther than I thought, so I ended up doing about 15 miles altogether, much of it into a headwind. Lumpy took care of Guinness and I hobbled down to the couch to watch t.v.

Guinness and I are going running in a half hour or so. It’s gray, windy, and cold, meaning we should have a great run. Finally, the real running season has started!
