I am tired of the world.

Starting a non-profit is not easy. It is a lot of work. It is a lot of last minute stuff. It is a lot of taking on of things that you were not aware you had to do, or knew that you could do. It is wearing me out almost as much as school did. By the way, Banana, when are you done with school? The Lump and I think that you, Toots, and your various and sundry offspring should come up and have a winter romp. We’ll go up north and play.

I have not run but once between my last post and now, but I am thinking I am starting this week. I do not intend to miss the Big Woods 1/2, and I need to start on a training plan. Dog is the puzzle I have to figure out. This week it’ll be way too hot for the furry mess to be out running, so I have to plan my exercise, her exercise, and feeding times for all of us. Thank goodness Lumpy does the cooking. I’ll figure out my knee as I go.

Jane Austen: I do not want people to be agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them.

Joan Baez:: If it’s natural to kill, why do men have to go into training to learn how?

  1. 1 Banana

I’m almost done–One class in the fall, two in the spring. I graduate May 3, 2008. A trip north sounds nice; however, my little offspring gets cold in 70 degree weather so I’m not sure that a winter trip will work. Those Florida girls! hehee

By the way, starting a nonprofit is right up my alley. Let me know if I can be of any help!
