Yeah…well…looks like we’ll be closing out our last few training runs in true Minnesota weather fashion. I direct you to the following, a-hem!, Winter Weather Advisory:
Winter Weather Advisory
300 PM CDT Mon Apr 9 2007
…Winter Storm Watch in effect from Tuesday afternoon through
Wednesday evening…The National Weather Service in Twin Cities/Chanhassen has issued a Winter Storm Watch…which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.
Expect snow to develop Tuesday afternoon and continue through Wednesday. Accumulations of 5 to 7 inches are possible by Wednesday afternoon…but amounts could be higher if the weather system slows down. The most likely area for higher accumulations would be over parts of west central Wisconsin.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow…sleet…or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
Fun. I can’t wait. No really, I can’t.
In other news, here’s the first snapshot forecast for Paris:
