What a long, long day.

Got up an hour and a half earlier than I wanted (internal clock?), took care of all the furries in the house, then myself. Had time to skim the newspaper, get some last minute school prep done, get Kona the guest dog’s things ready for her to go home today. Decided last minute to squeeze in my 5 mile run (holy crap, the longest 5 mile run in my own personal history of running), went to school, did scholastic-type things, tried to sound intelligent, etc., etc., came home, fed the fur again, attempted to stuff a giant homemade taco into my mouth in one bite, left for a Girls on the Run meeting, leaving a note at Kona’s house on the way. Attended meeting, got all worked up about this program again, had to leave in a rush in order to get Kona back to her owners. Took Guinness for a short walk. My back kind of aches. I already broke into the bottle of wine that Kona’s owners brought back from Spain for us (and of course, because I’m so hydrated and worried about training this week, my two sips are almost enough, and I’m worried about dehydrating. DORK ALERT!), and I’m considering staying up a little later than I want to, just to ensure that I am in some sort of peaceful state when I get to bed. My mind is absolutely racing.
