She asked me to take her photo at Lake Calhoun. Funny, huh? I never get runner’s high, but get “into the zone.” That’s how my run was today. I went slow and steady and stopped whenever I felt like it, let Guinness sniff around and drank plenty of water. Nice. It felt a little bit like Mr. Roger had come to my neighborhood and spread a little bit of kindliness. Everyone around the lakes seemed happy and friendly, people were smiling, dogs were wagging. It was oddly serene. So, Toots, I understand about that one run you had that you said was relaxing. Mine was today.
