I’m jus’ sayin’…

Firstly, business travel plays havoc with my training. I spent something like 20 out of the last 36 hours to 48 hours in airplanes and airports. Not fun at all. Needless to say, I didn’t run much this week. Except for the run tonight that Sally was talking about.

Secondly, I did have a good run with Sally tonight. I was being wimbly about running tonight. I had a headache all day and spent the later part of the afternoon at the dentist.

(insert high pitch whine of dentists drill here)

This was a surprise. A welcomed surprise. Granted, I managed to overdress and sweat profusely. Feh. How is that possible at, oh, 0°F?!?!?!

Thirdly, well, this is just the prelude to the weekends weather:

Statement as of 9:49 PM CST on February 01, 2007

… Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 12 PM CST Friday…

A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 12 PM CST Friday.

Arctic air will continue to pour into central and southern
Minnesota tonight in the wake of a strong cold front. Brisk
northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph will combine with frigid sub-zero
temperatures overnight into Friday morning to produce dangerous
wind chills. The wind chills will drop between minus 25 and minus
30 degrees around midnight and persist through Friday morning.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors… make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.

Oh yeah…13 miles on Saturday is ganna be fun, fun, fun…No, really, I mean it. Fun!!!sat-02-03-07-weather.gif
