We got to run while it was snowing, which was beautiful and fun, but the paths around the lakes had not really been cleared, so it was like a few weeks ago, and running on the snow was just as bad as running in unpacked sand. I was just FOUL. I spent most of the run fighting with DAWG, as well, so I was pooped by the time I finished. I feel fine now, and I have a sneaking suspicion that my runs this week will be fabulous. I got a crappy week out of the way, now it’s time for the pendulum to swing back to the good side. We took a few pictures, but posting them might mean I would have to walk upstairs. Hmm. No pictures, I say. So, with our weekly champagne celebration of even the worst runs ever, here’s a toast to accepting the tao of running and realizing that really great runs have to have really bad runs to balance everything out.
