It’s so true. Today’s 7 miler was somewhat painful. After last week’s great 10 miler, I thought I’d try to pick up the pace a bit. It backfired on me…before I knew it I was ready to quit. I was cold, I was wet, I was having trouble with my breathing, and I was tired. Maybe I’m coming down with something…? This was probably not the best week to try to pick up the pace. It’s been a long week. I worked 9 days straight, (I finally had a day off today), and even though I haven’t missed any of my runs, I did all of my last 3 runs indoors (yes, including the 5 miler…ugh!).  I’ll just blame it on the ice…needless to say, I’m extremely tired and probably should be asleep right now. Instead I decided to take down the Christmas tree (hadn’t gotten around to it yet) and now that I’m done, I’m a little wired.
